Don't Miss the 18th Annual Blue Ridge BBQ and Music Festival This Friday and Saturday, June 10-11
The 18th year of this event includes not only a cooking competition and great music, but also a juried craft fair with more than 50 artists and crafters demonstrating and selling their art; carnival rides for kids of all ages; and great food!
Two stages provide both big acts and softer sounds – dance the night away or bring your comfy chair, stake out your spot and enjoy the music! The craft fair artists are dotted along the Pacolet River.
If you like your food cooked slow & low, then step right up and order some BBQ. The folks selling you BBQ in the infield area are also competing for prizes and championship status in the contest, so you know you’re getting the best of the best! There are desserts, beverages, wine and beer available as well.
Admission is $7, with children 12 and under admitted free. Parking is free and includes a shuttle that zips you to the entrance where admission tickets are sold. So call your friends and make your plans now! Read More...

Live Music - Sundays in the Park and SummerTracks Concert Series
We have beautiful scenery here and it is only enhanced by the sound of live music on a summer weekend. Our SummerTracks concert series kicks of its 11th season on June 17th at Rogers Park in Tryon. Something new in Tryon this year is the Log Cabin Music Series, organized by our own KingPup Radio Show. Stop by the cabin at Harmon Field on one Sunday each month to hear a mix of bands and artists playing traditional music. You'll catch them 'on stage' or out into the park - anything for a chance to jam. The next concert is June 12at 4pm. Read More...
