Saturday, May 15, is the 7th Annual Saluda Arts and Music Festival. It's a free street festival filled with live music, food, artist demonstrations, a children's art tent, and of course, the great atmosphere of a small mountain town. The fun continues after the festival on the deck of the Saluda Wine & Cheese Market on Main St.

Sneak a Peak at Fabulous Private Gardens during Art In Bloom Garden Tours May 22-23
This is the first opportunity we've had to explore the fabulous gardens of six private homes in the Tryon area. Each garden will be staffed by a master gardener and have a local artist there to paint the landscape. Each of the gardens has a different approach, so you can get great ideas and discuss them with a master gardener before you make changes to your own garden. The paintings from the weekend will be sold at the "Celebrating the Arts and Gardens" reception on Sunday.
