Polk County Travel & Tourism maintains an online calendar of tourism-related events as a guide for visitors to our area (Polk County, NC). If you have an event that would interest tourists, please tell us about it. Events must be something that would entice a potential visitor to choose our destination. A community fundraiser like a fish fry or bake sale would not be a fit, but a music event or festival by the same organization probably would. Please call 828-894-2324 if you are not sure. This service is provided free of charge to you. We reserve the right to edit and post/print submissions at our discretion.
