Green River Plantation

A magnificent, nineteenth-century, forty-two-room mansion resting on 366 acres. It is now a Bed and Breakfast and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This stately home was built in 1804 and has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur. Green River Plantation is an excellent location for weddings, family reunions, rehearsal dinners, parties, and picnics. The Green River House near the pond is ideal for indoor functions. A Civil War Trail marker stands near the entrance to Green River Plantation describing historic events occurring on the property during Stoneman's Raid in 1865.
