Free Wine Tasting at La Bouteille
Stop by for a complimentary wine tasting on Thursday evening July 1, from 5 to 7 pm. With the 4th of July coming up let's try these five American wines. Cheers!
Biltmore NC Chardonnay (North Carolina) Yes, this wine is made from the finest NC grapes grown on the George Vanderbilt estate. Savor this buttery, full-bodied and dry Chardonnay with good acidity highlighted by citrus and tropical fruit flavors.
Kenwood Vintage White (California) Blended from a combination of grapes from Sonoma County and other California appellations, this delicious white table wine has mouthwatering aromas of jasmine, honeydew melon and white peach, followed by more fresh fruit in the mouth and a crisp finish.
Sacred Stone Master's Red Blend (California) A dark, richly aromatic, and luscious wine that seduces the palate. Soft, juicy, and expressive, with spicy, earthy, and mineral flavors. Supple, crisp acidity, and easy on the tannins.
Kenwood Yulupa Cabernet Sauvignon (California) Produced with an emphasis on softness and drinkability. Cassis and blackberry aromas followed by complex notes of dark chocolate and olives. Medium-bodied mouthfeel with soft, rich tannins.
Childress Fountain of Youth (North Carolina) This is a sweet red muscadine wine that captures the essence of the Old South. Did you know that Muscadine wine has 10 - 12 times higher resveratrol (an antioxidant compound found in red wine) concentration compared to French red wine? I don't know about you, but I'd rather drink a glass of red wine than take a pill everyday for health!
