Cosy Sheridan at The Purple Onion
Clear, expressive, songwriting and light-as-air vocals have taken Cosy Sheridan from the folk music coffeehouses of northern New England to stages and festivals across the United States. A past winner of the "New Folk" award at the Kerrville Folk Festival and the "Troubadour" award at the Telluride Festival in Colorado, Sheridan has continued to evolve as a tunesmith since moving to the canyon country of Moab, Utah in 1994. You will be delighted with tonight's performance, so come join us for a very memorable evening.

Crimson Rose Live at Saluda Mountain Jamboree
On Saturday, March 6th, "Crimson Rose" will return to perform at The Saluda Mountain Jamboree. The members of this six piece band are from the Shelby-Kings Mountain area, but one member of the band, Kim Truelove has roots that connect her to Henderson county. She spent her growing up years attending school and learning music from her mother, here in our area. She knows lots of folks and still has many friends, so please come give her band your support. Kim is a very versatile artist and has been with the band for over 12 years. She has an excellent vocal range and a beautiful voice. Kim, along with Debbie, Rick, Ronnie, Chris, and Ric make up this high energy band called "Crimson Rose." They perform a variety of music that can range from beach, oldies, classic rock, top 40 and country. Plus, they can handle special requests or shows with themes. Their extensive song repertoire and state of the art sound and light system, make them a very sought after group, with a calendar full of bookings. The Jamboree was fortunate to have them visit for a performance earlier this year. Everyone that attended thought they were fantastic and they were immediately scheduled to return to The Saluda Mountain Jamboree. Please make plans to be present on March 6th. The band starts their music at 8:00 pm and the doors open at 7:00 pm. Admission is only $9.00. The Jamboree is easy to locate, just off I-26 at the Saluda Exit #59. You want to reserve a table, please call 828-749-3676
