Tryon's 125th Birthday Golf Tournament at Tryon Country Club
Tryon Country Club invites you to join us in celebrating our town's 125th birthday with this wonderful tournament. Let's find out who has the best Scramble Team! You don't have to be a TCC member to play.
- Format: Four player Scramble. Prizes. Niine or Eighteen holes.
- Time: 9-holes 9 am; 18-holes 1 pm
- Lunch: 11:30 am to 1 pm
- Cost: $120 for 9 holes; $165/18-per foursome. Includes carts, range balls and BBQ lunch.

Tryon Country Club

Established in 1916, Tryon Country Club is one of the oldest private golf clubs in North Carolina. The grounds are immaculate with the beauty of the surrounding mountains adding especially to the scenery.
The course was designed by the distinguished Donald Ross in the early 1920's. Nine holes play to 18 by virtue of one extra tee, one extra green and variations of tee placements. It is a challenging par 72 for men and 75 for women. The USGA rating is 70.6, 128 for men at 6,168 yards and 72.8 for women at 5,572 yards.
Amenities at Tryon Country Club include a driving range, chipping and putting practice greens, full-size swimming pool, the clubhouse, locker rooms and a fully stocked Pro Shop and snack bar, all available to members and guests.
