The Town of Tryon's 125th Birthday Celebration
The list of events planned to ensure the Town of Tryon's 125th Birthday is celebrated in grand style is very impressive. Start on Friday with music in Rogers Park, then on Saturday include the big parade, visit historic sites, galleries, exhibits, and of course, enjoy wonderful food, but there is lots more. See the list below to plan your itinerary and be sure to join in the festivities as we commemorate this very important milestone. See you in and around Tryon on Labor Day Weekend!
Trade St. will be closed for the parade from 10:30am-12:30pm, but open the rest of the day.
For convenience, easy Park and Ride Shuttles will be running from Noon to 4:00 pm (FREE) at these 2 locations:
- From south of Tryon: Starts from Jon & Jay's store/shopping center on (Hwy-176) to Side Street Pizza, along Pacolet St. & Melrose Ave. and back to Jon & Jays
- From north of Tryon: Starts from Stott's Ford at corner of Howard St. to Tryon Arts & Crafts (next to Harmon Field) and back to Stott's Ford
