Night of the Living Poet at Saluda Inn & Wine Cellar
Guests are invited to bring their own poetry and short stories to share with the audience or just enjoy our animated, poetic host guide us through a night of amazing entertainment!
Saluda resident, Scott Kinard has been performing original, classical, and children's poetry on stage for local festivals, civic groups, library programs, and private parties. He is a former member of Poetry Alive! touring all over the country with them for several years. He is also affiliated with the dynamic duo “Poetry People. Prepare to be amazed!

Saluda Inn & Wine Cellar

National Historic Registered Saluda Inn is located a short walk from town. The newly renovated inn offers 15 guest rooms, each with it's own character,
some with shared baths and others with fireplaces and claw footed tubs.
The size and location of the Inn have been convenient for hosting retreats. Situated in a
peaceful setting of mature trees and pleasant distant views , enjoyed from the horse shoe pit or the wrap around porch.
The Wine Cellar, located in the cellar of the inn, offers guests local music and art on Thursday and
Fridays. An extensive by the glass selection is available with a limited menu.
Rooms are non-smoking only. No pets.
