Bed & Breakfast
A 100 plus year old restored landmark with 10 guest rooms uniquely decorated with antiques and reproductions was originally built as a "casino" or entertainment building adjacent to the original Mimosa Hotel that was destroyed by fire in 1916. The Inn has large common areas, a gracious dining room and an 8 columned verandah with views of Tryon Peak and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Located just 2 miles off Interstate 26 on NC Hwy.108, between Columbus and Tryon.
Gathering Place
The Inn with its 10 guest rooms and large gathering areas make the Mimosa Inn a "special" place for your private luncheons, dinners, family re-unions as well as wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners.
The Restaurant
Open for Lunch Thursday – Saturday from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm. The Inn also serves dinner Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00pm – 9:00pm offering 2-3 entrees and a variety of homemade desserts. Since the Inn has become a part of the City of Tryon, we now offer Wine and Beer. Our signature drink is the “Mimosa Royale”. The Inn is smoke free however smoking is permitted outside on the veranda, porch or the patio. Meals can also be served out side, weather permitting.
We are also open Tuesday and Wednesday for Private Luncheons and Dinners. Minimum 20 guests.
